Enjoy your long weekend and appreciate the beautiful province that we live in.
Remember the days of our childhood when summer meant no school, no exams and no waking up early? At Vancouver Career College all of our classes are in session during the summer months. We are continuing to grow, learn and move closer to our goals. It may not be like it was when we were children but we know our lives are changing for the better each and every day that we wake up early to attend our classes and study for exams.

Harjit (Medical Office Assistant) shows great tenacity, dedication, and hard work in her school academics. She studies and practices not to achieve the minimum requirement but to excel in her learning.
We know it's hot out there but remember that when you attend classes you should be dressed professionally as if you were going to work in your field of study. If you are coming from the beach, please change before you enter the classroom.
Science experiments are a great way for our ECE students to stay cool in the summer. They learned about sensory stimulation and how this impacts children's learning. Using water, shaving cream and food colouring they were able to experience how to teach children about mixing colours in an interactive way. What a mess, but so much fun!
Ice cream sundaes were a great way to show our students how much we appreciate them last month. Our students were very excited to be spoiled with ice cream, fresh fruit, whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate, strawberry and caramel sauces. Seeing our students' smiling faces and hearing their laughter brightens our days here at Kelowna Campus.
Our RMT students were busy during this charity event providing massages by donation to the team players and attendees. All of the money raised will go to support 30 young females who are in need of financial assistance to continue to play in the upcoming hockey season.
