January 2019 Kelowna Newsletter

Happy New Year from Vancouver Career College Kelowna campus. I love the New Year because it feels like a fresh start. I can leave behind the disappointment and frustrations of the previous year and work towards new goals and a new lifestyle. As you consider how you will live your life this coming year I encourage everyone to take time to rest and be kind to others. In our current society we tend to constantly push to do more and be better. We are concerned with what we have and how we appear to others and sometimes we lose ourselves to these pursuits. Remember that what truly brings meaning to our lives are the relationships and health that we have.

Student Appreciation

We will post the details of our January Student Appreciation Day shortly after we return following our winter break.

RMT Graduation

We would like to congratulate our November 30, 2018 RMT graduates. We had a lovely lunch with our RMT graduates, instructors and staff to celebrated the students' hard work and success. It has been a challenging couple of years and this cohort has grown in both knowledge and maturity along the way.  We wish them the best of luck as they prepare for their boards exams and we will miss their presence at our campus.

Holiday Celebration

Kelowna campus had a wonderful holiday celebration with amazing food and deserts as well as Christmas music and ugly holiday sweaters. Our students are so excited to participate whenever we plan any events and this creates a happy, close community where we see many smiles an excitement. thank you to our students and staff who create a wonderful campus spirit.
