Applications, Visas and Permits

Vancouver Career College is an Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada Designated Learning Institution. International students who are coming to Canada to study must first apply for an International Study Permit. Students without a permit will not be allowed to begin their studies in Canada. Fortunately, the process is straightforward, but it can take some time, so be sure to start the permiting process as soon as you are accepted to your program.

To apply for a study permit you will need to include the Designated Learning Institution number (DLI #), which is the number that begins with the letter “O”, on your application form. The complete information will be included in the letter of acceptance which is issued upon completion of your registration.

Our DLI# is O19395299664 and is registered in Burnaby, British Columbia under the legal business name Vancouver Career College (Burnaby) Inc.

For more information about the DLI, please visit https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/prepare/designated-learning-institutions-list.html
