Vancouver Career College Develops Degree Pathway with BCIT

Wednesday, May 1, 2019

Vancouver, BC – May 1, 2019 – Vancouver Career College graduates of select programs are now able to ladder their education and complete a business degree at British Columbia Institute of Technology in less than four years.

Programs eligible for the pathway at Vancouver Career College include Acupuncture, Early Childhood Education, Hospitality Management and Hospitality Management with Co-op. Upon completion of those programs, and by meeting the admission requirements outlined by BCIT, graduates will now be able to enroll into the Advanced Diploma of Business Management at BCIT, and then go onto the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

“The strong business education provided by BCIT has helped thousands of graduates launch rewarding careers,” said Kevin Wainwright, Associate Dean, BCIT School of Business. “We’re happy to have the opportunity to make our programming available to even more students through the pathway with Vancouver Career College.”

Upon completion of their BCIT Advanced Diploma in Business Management at BCIT, international students will also be eligible for a post-graduate work permit.

“The pathway with BCIT opens new doors for our graduates,” says Andre Souza, VP of Operations at Vancouver Career College. “The ability to further their education through the Advanced Diploma and BBA at BCIT will only increase their chances for success.”

Vancouver Career College is accepting applications for programs at campuses across the Lower Mainland. For more information, visit the Pathways page or fill in the Request Info form.
