Whether they're preparing for a future in practical nursing or addictions and community services work, students can meet with knowledgeable professionals and learn about the types of places to complete their practicum placements and apply to work.

The career service centre can also be a source of job leads for alumni. Staff can connect with the grads as often as necessary and inform them of relevant opportunities that may appeal to them since they left school. Colleges often form strong relationships with a number of different organizations, which means that students and alumni can hear about potential openings before the organization advertises them to the public.
