It's Fall!! Which means its time to break out those comfy sweaters and warm fuzzy socks! Watch as the leaves change colour and the air gets crisper!

But don't forget, COVID-19 is still here and on the rise. Be sure to maintain safe distances while doing your daily outdoor activities, here is a list of safe social distancing activities that can keep you busy during these chilly fall days.

How about a full moon to kick start this spooky month! Keep your eyes peeled on October 1st for the Harvest moon. 

Blue Moon
October 31, 2020

The second full moon of October, known as the blue moon is going to give off those creepy haunting chills on Halloween night.

If you weren't already excited about halloween being on a Saturday this year, it's about to get better!

At 2:00am on November 1st the clocks go back an hour, giving us an extra hour to celebrate our favourite spooky Holiday.

National Do Something Nice Day: 5th

Let us know how kindness effects your life, and show us something nice you did for the community this month. 

World Mental Health Day: 10th

Mental Health can be a very hard topic for lots of people. So not only on October 10th, but everyday make sure that you are checking up on the ones you loved most, and help out those in need.

National Youth Confidence Day: 20th

What do you do to boost your confidence? Maybe some skiin care, or a workout? Let us know, and send us lots of photos.

Canadian Thanksgiving is October 12th

be sure to spend lots of time with those close to you and take this Holiday to celebrate the harvest and other blessings of the past year.

 

Halloween

Halloween 2020 is going to be spooktacualr this year! With Halloween being on a Saturday, a Full Moon and daylight savings going back at 2am this year is guaranteed to be an exciting one. Send us photos of your favourite Halloween costume! 

Halloween Social Media Contest

We are currently running two easy-to-enter Halloween contests on our social media channels to get everyone in the Halloween spirit.

Students can enter for a chance to win a $25 gift card on Facebook by being one of the first 200 people to like the post or a $50 gift card on Instagram and Twitter by tagging in their friends.
