Program coordinators for professional programs

We have three professional programs and the program coordinators listed as follows:

  • Social service worker  - Shakeel
  • Education Assistant - Leichel 
  • Early Childhood Education - Sophie 
First Aid

We have third party training sessions for students who study with us. It relates to one-day session and two-day sessions as well. The content ranges from learning how to conduct CPR training, dealing with an emergency, etc.

Medical Office Assistant program growing

We wanted to inform everyone that we have a new medical program that was started as our campus and its growing well. Students get practical experience and get to learn via books as well.

St. Jean Baptiste Day :June 24th

This holiday is celebrated in Quebec and it a statutory holiday in this province. The reason this event is celebrated is that it is the feast day of St John the Baptist, a Jewish preacher who baptized Jesus in the River Jordan. This day is celebration in Quebec and other areas of French Canada.

United Kingdom

Did you know UK has a whole lot of castles, some that date back many thousands of years? Within Canada, many people have migrated from UK  and choosen to make this country their home. Canada is a diverse country cultural speaking.

Care For Your Grandparents Month

We like everyone to celebrate and do something nice for his or her elders or grandparents this month. In 2005, China counted 144 million people over the age of 60 – that is 11 percent of its total population. So daily the numbers of elders is growing and we all need to be proactive about him we take care of them in the end.

Pride month

LGBT stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month (LGBT Pride Month). This event is to honor the sexual diversities in the world and helping people understand each other better.

Did you know Seven-eighths of the iceberg’s mass is below water? Icebergs exist all around Canada and are not an uncommon since Canada has the Atlantic Ocean on the east, the Pacific Ocean on the west and, the Arctic Ocean to the north.

Guest speaker : Social Services worker program

We had a speaker for Social worker program who talked to our students about homeless individuals and, harm reduction. She is an advocate for women and the LGBTQ community within British Columbia. 

June 7 :World Food Safety Day

Over the past few years their have been a lot of talk about food safety. Most often in the developing countries, there is use of pesticides, unhealthy fertilizers that are making the crop grow faster and henceforth the profit for farmers was higher.  Because of this, people have no only started eating more vegetables; they have also started buying organic fruits and vegetables, which is great news!

Population density

Population density is the number of people per unit of area. Canada had a population density of about 4 people per square kilometer. Whereas for India the population density is about 394.5 people per sqaure kilometer.
