STUDENT OF THE MONTH
Joyce Tang

Joyce is an amazing student who always gives 100% in her ECE class. Besides having perfect attendance, she is always actively listening and ready and willing to participate in discussions.

Winter Solstice is December 21

The winter solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. It occurs annually between December 20th and December 23rd.

Christmas Eve is December 24th

Christmas Eve kicks off a series of holiday traditions. Some are ancient practices with a modern spin, while others date back hundreds of years. No afternoon classes. Winter break begins until January 4th 2021.

New Year's Eve is December 31st

Every year on December 31st, people around the world celebrate New Year’s Eve, the last day of the year. It’s a day to say “goodbye” to the old and “hello” to the new.

The Ultimate Fall Bucket List

Do you have a bucket list? Everyone seems to have a bucket list these days, but if the term is one that is new to you, perhaps a short definition is in order. A bucket list is, by definition, a list of things that you want to do before you die; but let’s not go to those extremes. Making Friends In High Places

Meet the seagull who visits Nada, our campus director, regularly. Almost every day they come and sit on the ledge just outside her window. They have an exchange (mostly I think they are waiting for her to offer food) and then the seagull is gone until another day. Most likely tomorrow.
